Bruce M. Rinehart

Mr. Rinehart is currently a Staff Safety Officer with the Great Lakes Construction Company. He is responsible for all aspects of construction safety at site locations. Mr. Rinehart had 21 years experience in all phases of Safety Management with Tilton Corporation where he rose to the level of Vice President of Services and Manager of Corporate Safety. He is President and owner of R & R Consulting of Lima, Ohio.

He is a Journeyman Pipefitter with 23 years experience and holds a Master Plumbers License. Through the implementation of an effective safety program, he was able to achieve a 78% credit modification in Workers' Compensation Premiums while he worked for the Tilton Corporation.

Mr. Rinehart developed a Construction Safety Program for the Chemical and Petro-Chemical facilities of the Standard Oil Company (now BP America) and helped develop a Safety Program for the Proctor & Gamble Plant in Lima, Ohio. He developed a task force to deal with acrylonitrile, nitric and sulfuric acid, cyanide, acrylamide, lead and benzene, as well as hydrogen sulfide.

He is a Professional member of the American Society of Ohio Safety Engineers. Mr. Rinehart is a member and past President of the Society of Ohio Safety Engineers. He is a member and past President of the lima Area Safety Council and a Member of the Maumee Valley Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. He is past Chairperson of the All Ohio Congress Construction Section. He is a Charter Member of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and a First Aid, CPR, and Stress Management Instructor for the American Red Cross.

Through his efforts, the Tilton Corporation has been highlighted in the "Ohio Monitor" magazine for outstanding safety performance and has been recognized by the Division of Safety & Hygiene as having one of the outstanding programs in Northwest Ohio. Mr. Rinehart has been published in the Ohio "Patterns for Progress" program and also in the Ohio "Basic Safety Manual".
